Narrative:

Overshot runway 25L localizer with first officer flying his first paradise arrival into lax. May have caused conflict for either socal or air carrier Y B757 approaching runway 24R. B757 in sight and correct localizer selected navigation #1 and #2. I did not anticipate overshoot, could have helped by adding localizer waypoints to FMS.

Narrative: OVERSHOT RWY 25L LOC WITH FO FLYING HIS FIRST PARADISE ARR INTO LAX. MAY HAVE CAUSED CONFLICT FOR EITHER SOCAL OR ACR Y B757 APCHING RWY 24R. B757 IN SIGHT AND CORRECT LOC SELECTED NAV #1 AND #2. I DID NOT ANTICIPATE OVERSHOOT, COULD HAVE HELPED BY ADDING LOC WAYPOINTS TO FMS.
