Narrative:
Aircraft X en route to teb, given descent to FL240. Aircraft Y, traveling east to west at FL240, advised radar controller of 2 aircraft in confliction and how to solve the problem. R-side advised me problem was taken care of, but 3 mins later, aircraft X showed level FL240, 5 mi apart and action was again taken by r-side. Separation lost.
