Narrative:

Passenger purchased 4 first class seats and one coach seat. He and his wife and two small daughters sat up front and teenage son sat in coach. Before closing aircraft door for departure the father moved son to a first class seat and put his 3 year old daughter on his lap, the aisle flight attendant informed me what happened and I went and told the father that the son must go back to coach and he must put his daughter in the first class seat (he purchased) for takeoff and landing. He refused and said his daughter would stay on his lap. He said he would get off the aircraft if we didn't let his daughter stay on his lap and his son in her seat. Children over 2 yrs must be in their own seat for takeoff and land. He wouldn't cooperate, so we re opened the aircraft door and hd him and his family removed. Suggestion: all children should be in their own seats with child restraint seats.
