Narrative:

After being cleared for takeoff I received an ACARS message which stated 'hold on the ground for the moment, will advise.' at this point the captain had taxied onto runway centerline and was in the process of transferring aircraft control to the first officer for an first officer takeoff. I told the captain that we had received a hold message and passed the message to the captain. After reading the previously quoted message the captain decided to depart and directed the first officer to continue the takeoff.
