Narrative:

On landing, autospoilers deployed and immediately retracted. Dry runway, wind approximately 150 degrees at 10 KTS. Landing firm, but acceptable spoilers were armed -- deployed upon touchdown and immediately retracted. Recommend deactivating this unnecessary and unreliable system. Deploy it manually in all operations and maybe we will not see another aircraft off the end of the runway.
