Narrative:

Working approach and being vectored for visual to runway 1 at kansas city downtown, approach asked if we had downtown in sight. Reply was yes. We were cleared for a visual approach. Traffic out of your turn 1:30-2 O'clock position, 1-1 1/2 mi at 2900 ft, ATC suggested 2500 ft to get below traffic. Out of our turn traffic was 12 O'clock position and 100 ft above us.

Title: A BE400 FLC ON A VISUAL APCH HAS TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION TO AVOID A C210 POINTED OUT TO THEM BY APCH CTLR AT MCI, MO.

Narrative: WORKING APCH AND BEING VECTORED FOR VISUAL TO RWY 1 AT KANSAS CITY DOWNTOWN, APCH ASKED IF WE HAD DOWNTOWN IN SIGHT. REPLY WAS YES. WE WERE CLRED FOR A VISUAL APCH. TFC OUT OF YOUR TURN 1:30-2 O'CLOCK POS, 1-1 1/2 MI AT 2900 FT, ATC SUGGESTED 2500 FT TO GET BELOW TFC. OUT OF OUR TURN TFC WAS 12 O'CLOCK POS AND 100 FT ABOVE US.
