Narrative:

Flight landed on runway 17C without tower clearance. I'm a very new captain. Got rushed with checklist items and other duties and due to my neglect, did not switch and call tower. Realized mistake when not on tower frequency when clearing runway. Initiated contact with tower via phone line after deplaning. Was told not to worry, 'no problem,' but it still should not have happened. I got out of my habit patterns.

Narrative: FLT LANDED ON RWY 17C WITHOUT TWR CLRNC. I'M A VERY NEW CAPT. GOT RUSHED WITH CHKLIST ITEMS AND OTHER DUTIES AND DUE TO MY NEGLECT, DID NOT SWITCH AND CALL TWR. REALIZED MISTAKE WHEN NOT ON TWR FREQ WHEN CLRING RWY. INITIATED CONTACT WITH TWR VIA PHONE LINE AFTER DEPLANING. WAS TOLD NOT TO WORRY, 'NO PROB,' BUT IT STILL SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. I GOT OUT OF MY HABIT PATTERNS.
