Narrative:

Wsi (nat WX service) radar sites were not updating from XA00-XD30Z. Also, dispauto would stop updating. I sent a thunderstorm SIGMET to a large list of flts on dispauto, but did not realize dispauto had stopped updating and would not send the SIGMET to those 4 flts. It was about 45 mins before I realized this and sent the SIGMET manually. Supplemental information from acn 521296: NWS (nat WX service) radar sites not updating in computer on all radar sites nationally, only access is soc WX browser through internet and only 1 radar at a time. These outages or failure to update is closing in on a safety issue. Unable to properly brief flight crew in a timely manner, due to having to pull up radar sites on the internet. We must resolve this issue and do what is necessary to give us a reliable tool to use.
