Narrative:

Upon completing pushback from passenger terminal and engine start, I initiated the taxi checklist. The checklist had been revised without our knowledge, and it caught the captain and I off guard when I called out an item not on previous checklist versions. In the distraction, we didn't realize that we were taxiing past the taxiway sierra (where we should have turned), and onto taxiway papa, about to cross runway 15/33. Ground control instructed us to stop, informed us of our error, and instructed us to taxi to runway 33 via taxiway right onto the runway, right on taxiway echo, then back onto taxiway sierra. The flight was completed without further incident.
