Narrative:

The chicago sectional aeronautical chart dated 5/thurs/01 shows a private airport 'pabst' which no longer exist. It is now planted with trees. Location about 43.04 north 88.27 west. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that the pabst field airport (WS23) no longer exists, trees are planted where the runway once was. The area is about to become a subdivision. The reporter was concerned an unwary pilot may assume the airports is still operational.

Narrative: THE CHICAGO SECTIONAL AERONAUTICAL CHART DATED 5/THURS/01 SHOWS A PRIVATE ARPT 'PABST' WHICH NO LONGER EXIST. IT IS NOW PLANTED WITH TREES. LOCATION ABOUT 43.04 N 88.27 W. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT THE PABST FIELD ARPT (WS23) NO LONGER EXISTS, TREES ARE PLANTED WHERE THE RWY ONCE WAS. THE AREA IS ABOUT TO BECOME A SUBDIVISION. THE RPTR WAS CONCERNED AN UNWARY PLT MAY ASSUME THE ARPTS IS STILL OPERATIONAL.
