Narrative:
I was advised that there may be a problem with the following procedure that is being reviewed in an ongoing as soon as possible event. On mar/tue/01 my crew chief told me to take the panel with hinges off aircraft XXX for a drop-in aircraft due in later. I removed the parts and checked them for svcable condition then gave them to the crew chief. A form 8130-3 was filled out for this part.

Narrative: I WAS ADVISED THAT THERE MAY BE A PROB WITH THE FOLLOWING PROC THAT IS BEING REVIEWED IN AN ONGOING ASAP EVENT. ON MAR/TUE/01 MY CREW CHIEF TOLD ME TO TAKE THE PANEL WITH HINGES OFF ACFT XXX FOR A DROP-IN ACFT DUE IN LATER. I REMOVED THE PARTS AND CHKED THEM FOR SVCABLE CONDITION THEN GAVE THEM TO THE CREW CHIEF. A FORM 8130-3 WAS FILLED OUT FOR THIS PART.
