Narrative:
Flying from fat to sea on the olympia 2 arrival (olm.OLM2). 55 mi south of the olm VOR, we received a speed reduction to 250 KTS. From about 30 mi south of olm VOR, we were given 5 heading changes and altitude step-downs. On the last vector we were told to 'proceed direct to the olm VOR and descend via the olympia 2 arrival.' at this time we were level at 17000 ft, on an easterly heading, 250 KTS, and in VMC. As soon as I started the left turn to the west, ATC said 'I need you to keep this turn tight.' while turning to the olm VOR, I started my descent from 17000 ft to 16000 ft, as it is called for on the olympia 2 arrival. After completing the turn, at 16400 ft, we got a TA on TCASII. The captain and myself spotted the traffic at 12 O'clock and approximately 3 mi, an air carrier B737 moving left to right. Prior to the TCASII alert, no TA's were given by ATC. After spotting the aircraft, I kept turning left until clear.

Title: F28 PLT MAKES EVASIVE MANEUVER WHEN TURNING ONTO OLM STAR INTO SEA DUE TO A CONFLICTING B737 AHEAD AND SLIGHTLY BELOW THE F28.
Narrative: FLYING FROM FAT TO SEA ON THE OLYMPIA 2 ARR (OLM.OLM2). 55 MI S OF THE OLM VOR, WE RECEIVED A SPD REDUCTION TO 250 KTS. FROM ABOUT 30 MI S OF OLM VOR, WE WERE GIVEN 5 HDG CHANGES AND ALT STEP-DOWNS. ON THE LAST VECTOR WE WERE TOLD TO 'PROCEED DIRECT TO THE OLM VOR AND DSND VIA THE OLYMPIA 2 ARR.' AT THIS TIME WE WERE LEVEL AT 17000 FT, ON AN EASTERLY HDG, 250 KTS, AND IN VMC. AS SOON AS I STARTED THE L TURN TO THE W, ATC SAID 'I NEED YOU TO KEEP THIS TURN TIGHT.' WHILE TURNING TO THE OLM VOR, I STARTED MY DSCNT FROM 17000 FT TO 16000 FT, AS IT IS CALLED FOR ON THE OLYMPIA 2 ARR. AFTER COMPLETING THE TURN, AT 16400 FT, WE GOT A TA ON TCASII. THE CAPT AND MYSELF SPOTTED THE TFC AT 12 O'CLOCK AND APPROX 3 MI, AN ACR B737 MOVING L TO R. PRIOR TO THE TCASII ALERT, NO TA'S WERE GIVEN BY ATC. AFTER SPOTTING THE ACFT, I KEPT TURNING L UNTIL CLR.
