Narrative:

While flying level at FL240, #3 engine fire warning sounded. All engine parameters were in normal range. After brief pause while the fire light was still on, decided to shut engine down. Performed emergency procedures. The fire light remained on. Declared an emergency and landed at closest airport, which was day airport. Landed without incident. Light remained on entire flight. Upon inspection by emergency airport response crew, engine checked out and no fire was noted. (Turns out it was a fire loop problem.)
