Narrative:

Landing runway 30L msp, after received clearance to land on 3 mi final, tower cleared DC9 into position and hold, waiting previous landing aircraft to clear runway 2 mi final. He was cleared for takeoff and passing 200 ft he was still on the roll and tower advised us, if we had to go around plan 220 degree heading and stand by. At 100 ft, DC9 still on the roll, we were initiating our own go around, tower said to go around and left to 220 degrees into position and hold and advised him that if it didn't work out regarding previous landing aircraft, that he would have him clear the runway, as we had already been around once. 2 mi final previous landing aircraft still on the runway, tower had him clear and we landed. Day before, landing runway 30L msp, had clearance to land, same deal, 3 mi final tower cleared DC10 position and hold, 2 mi final cleared him to takeoff. We felt spacing was a bit tight, although we did not have to go around, we did land, but after parking we asked ground to relay to tower that we felt spacing was a tad too tight.

Title: AN A320 PIC RPT ON TFC SPACING PROBS ON FINAL APCH AT MSP, MN.

Narrative: LNDG RWY 30L MSP, AFTER RECEIVED CLRNC TO LAND ON 3 MI FINAL, TWR CLRED DC9 INTO POS AND HOLD, WAITING PREVIOUS LNDG ACFT TO CLR RWY 2 MI FINAL. HE WAS CLRED FOR TKOF AND PASSING 200 FT HE WAS STILL ON THE ROLL AND TWR ADVISED US, IF WE HAD TO GO AROUND PLAN 220 DEG HDG AND STAND BY. AT 100 FT, DC9 STILL ON THE ROLL, WE WERE INITIATING OUR OWN GAR, TWR SAID TO GO AROUND AND L TO 220 DEGS INTO POS AND HOLD AND ADVISED HIM THAT IF IT DIDN'T WORK OUT REGARDING PREVIOUS LNDG ACFT, THAT HE WOULD HAVE HIM CLR THE RWY, AS WE HAD ALREADY BEEN AROUND ONCE. 2 MI FINAL PREVIOUS LNDG ACFT STILL ON THE RWY, TWR HAD HIM CLR AND WE LANDED. DAY BEFORE, LNDG RWY 30L MSP, HAD CLRNC TO LAND, SAME DEAL, 3 MI FINAL TWR CLRED DC10 POS AND HOLD, 2 MI FINAL CLRED HIM TO TKOF. WE FELT SPACING WAS A BIT TIGHT, ALTHOUGH WE DID NOT HAVE TO GO AROUND, WE DID LAND, BUT AFTER PARKING WE ASKED GND TO RELAY TO TWR THAT WE FELT SPACING WAS A TAD TOO TIGHT.
