Narrative:

Due to a lack of communication between the PIC, first officer, and ramp personnel, a spare part was not calculated as additional weight in the aircraft's aft cargo compartment. The PIC takes full responsibility. This oversight was partly due to the fact that different load sheet forms are used by the ground crews, system-wide. I recommend that our company use 1 standardized form.

Title: A BE1900 CAPT RPTED THAT HE MISUNDERSTOOD RAMP PERSONNEL AND DID NOT CONSIDER THE WT OF A SPARE PART WHEN CALCULATING THE CTR OF GRAVITY.

Narrative: DUE TO A LACK OF COM BTWN THE PIC, FO, AND RAMP PERSONNEL, A SPARE PART WAS NOT CALCULATED AS ADDITIONAL WT IN THE ACFT'S AFT CARGO COMPARTMENT. THE PIC TAKES FULL RESPONSIBILITY. THIS OVERSIGHT WAS PARTLY DUE TO THE FACT THAT DIFFERENT LOAD SHEET FORMS ARE USED BY THE GND CREWS, SYS-WIDE. I RECOMMEND THAT OUR COMPANY USE 1 STANDARDIZED FORM.
