Narrative:

Intersecting runway operation at ord runway 14R arrs, runway 27L departures. B747 landed runway 14R. On his rollout, I thought that I asked the pilot if he could exit the runway at T10 (prior to runway 27L). In reality, I had said T11, which is past runway 27L. When he acknowledged that he could make the turn, I cleared a departure on runway 26L for takeoff. I saw that B747 was not going to turn at T10, so I instructed him to hold short of runway 27L. In the same transmission, I canceled the departure clearance for the traffic on runway 27L. B747 did hold short of the intersection and the departure had only just begun rolling, and stopped still 5000 ft short of the intersection. I had intended to say T10 to B747. I thought I had said T10 -- I had erroneously said T11. When B747 was on final, I had thought to myself, he is going to want to roll out to T11 because it is closer to where he parks, so I will have to emphasize T10. Apparently, T11 just stuck in my mind and that's what came out. I was sure the entire time that I had said T10.

Title: ORD LCL CTLR HAS TO CANCEL TKOF CLRNC WHEN OBSERVING CONFLICTING TFC ENTER INTERSECTING RWY.

Narrative: INTERSECTING RWY OP AT ORD RWY 14R ARRS, RWY 27L DEPS. B747 LANDED RWY 14R. ON HIS ROLLOUT, I THOUGHT THAT I ASKED THE PLT IF HE COULD EXIT THE RWY AT T10 (PRIOR TO RWY 27L). IN REALITY, I HAD SAID T11, WHICH IS PAST RWY 27L. WHEN HE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT HE COULD MAKE THE TURN, I CLRED A DEP ON RWY 26L FOR TKOF. I SAW THAT B747 WAS NOT GOING TO TURN AT T10, SO I INSTRUCTED HIM TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 27L. IN THE SAME XMISSION, I CANCELED THE DEP CLRNC FOR THE TFC ON RWY 27L. B747 DID HOLD SHORT OF THE INTXN AND THE DEP HAD ONLY JUST BEGUN ROLLING, AND STOPPED STILL 5000 FT SHORT OF THE INTXN.
