Narrative:

After low visibility taxi, we were given a runway change clearance. Both of the pilots looked at the SID, but failed to see the specific runway instructions for runway 4L on the logan departure. After takeoff, we failed to turn 090 degrees at 4 DME off the bos TACAN. Departure asked us if we were on the departure and we said yes. They then said to turn 090 degrees as depicted.

Title: AN MD88 FO ADMITTED THAT HE AND THE CAPT DID NOT READ THE FINE PRINT ON THE SID DURING DEP FROM BOS, CAUSING THEM TO TURN THE WRONG WAY.

Narrative: AFTER LOW VISIBILITY TAXI, WE WERE GIVEN A RWY CHANGE CLRNC. BOTH OF THE PLTS LOOKED AT THE SID, BUT FAILED TO SEE THE SPECIFIC RWY INSTRUCTIONS FOR RWY 4L ON THE LOGAN DEP. AFTER TKOF, WE FAILED TO TURN 090 DEGS AT 4 DME OFF THE BOS TACAN. DEP ASKED US IF WE WERE ON THE DEP AND WE SAID YES. THEY THEN SAID TO TURN 090 DEGS AS DEPICTED.
