Narrative:

Departed from lhr. Random route. Sent normal wbound shanwick oceanic data link automatic request. All normal confirmations received showing flight numbers as our flight. Subsequently, we received an oceanic crossing message as a different flight number. Additionally, this message was for an eastbound crossing, we were wbound flight. Destination jfk. Reverted to void procedure call to shanwick oceanic to receive proper wbound crossing clearance. Rest of my flight was a normal crossing.

Narrative: DEPARTED FROM LHR. RANDOM RTE. SENT NORMAL WBOUND SHANWICK OCEANIC DATA LINK AUTO REQUEST. ALL NORMAL CONFIRMATIONS RECEIVED SHOWING FLT NUMBERS AS OUR FLT. SUBSEQUENTLY, WE RECEIVED AN OCEANIC XING MESSAGE AS A DIFFERENT FLT NUMBER. ADDITIONALLY, THIS MESSAGE WAS FOR AN EBOUND XING, WE WERE WBOUND FLT. DEST JFK. REVERTED TO VOID PROC CALL TO SHANWICK OCEANIC TO RECEIVE PROPER WBOUND XING CLRNC. REST OF MY FLT WAS A NORMAL XING.
