ATC initial departure 185 degree heading, 10000 ft. On TRACON reclred to 120 degree heading, 12000 ft. At 10000 ft receive TCASII TA, then TCASII RA, on traffic at 11000 ft, 10 O'clock position and 3 mi. We stopped climb at 10500 ft and advised ATC of TCASII RA and avoided conflict. Traffic passed 500 ft above about 1 mi at 12 O'clock position.
