Narrative:

This incident mainly occurred from inexperience of flying at controled airport. I was taxiing to my departure runway and stopped at the hold short line. I stopped at the hold short line, called up ground and started copy the departure instructions. This was what the ground control said to me, 'after takeoff, turn heading 340 degrees, departure frequency is 127.15, and squawk XXXX.' and there was no other instruction. Because of an inexperienced flying at the controled airport, I switched my radio to departure frequency instead of tower frequency and started to get clearance to takeoff. I taxied onto the active runway and stopped. I called 3 more time to the departure frequency instead of tower frequency. Two seconds after I stopped on the runway, a commercial airline jet landed in front of me. I was very confused because I thought that I was cleared to taxi onto the runway. After the jet landed and taxied off the runway, I called one more time and took off without the clearance and there was a jet landing behind me. After I looked at what happened, I realized that I wasn't supposed to taxi onto the runway and took off without clearance from the tower. I was confused because ground never say anything about contacting the tower after he gave me the departure clrncs. Now, I learned that I always have to get clearance before I taxi into the active runway and before I can take off. I also learned that if I get confused or don't understand the instructions or situation, I should stop at the hold line and call the tower until I get everything clear. I was lucky that I stopped at the end of the runway, because if I took off after I taxi onto the runway, I would have crashed with the airlines jet and killed myself and also people on the jet. Now, I never forget to call the tower before I cross the hold line. Because you will never hear any traffics that will use the runway if you use wrong frequency, and that was how the incident occurred.

Title: CESSNA 150 STUDENT PLT TAXIED ON TO RWY AND TOOK OFF WITHOUT CLRNC RESULTING IN AN ACR ACFT LNDG OVER THE TOP OF HIM WHILE HOLDING IN POSITION AND THEN SUBSEQUENTLY TAKING OFF IN FRONT OF ANOTHER LNDG ACFT.

Narrative: THIS INCIDENT MAINLY OCCURRED FROM INEXPERIENCE OF FLYING AT CTLED ARPT. I WAS TAXIING TO MY DEPARTURE RWY AND STOPPED AT THE HOLD SHORT LINE. I STOPPED AT THE HOLD SHORT LINE, CALLED UP GND AND STARTED COPY THE DEP INSTRUCTIONS. THIS WAS WHAT THE GND CTL SAID TO ME, 'AFTER TKOF, TURN HEADING 340 DEGS, DEP FREQ IS 127.15, AND SQUAWK XXXX.' AND THERE WAS NO OTHER INSTRUCTION. BECAUSE OF AN INEXPERIENCED FLYING AT THE CTLED ARPT, I SWITCHED MY RADIO TO DEP FREQ INSTEAD OF TWR FREQ AND STARTED TO GET CLRNC TO TKOF. I TAXIED ONTO THE ACTIVE RWY AND STOPPED. I CALLED 3 MORE TIME TO THE DEP FREQ INSTEAD OF TWR FREQ. TWO SECS AFTER I STOPPED ON THE RWY, A COMMERCIAL AIRLINE JET LANDED IN FRONT OF ME. I WAS VERY CONFUSED BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT I WAS CLRED TO TAXI ONTO THE RWY. AFTER THE JET LANDED AND TAXIED OFF THE RWY, I CALLED ONE MORE TIME AND TOOK OFF WITHOUT THE CLRNC AND THERE WAS A JET LNDG BEHIND ME. AFTER I LOOKED AT WHAT HAPPENED, I REALIZED THAT I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO TAXI ONTO THE RWY AND TOOK OFF WITHOUT CLRNC FROM THE TWR. I WAS CONFUSED BECAUSE GND NEVER SAY ANYTHING ABOUT CONTACTING THE TWR AFTER HE GAVE ME THE DEP CLRNCS. NOW, I LEARNED THAT I ALWAYS HAVE TO GET CLRNC BEFORE I TAXI INTO THE ACTIVE RWY AND BEFORE I CAN TAKE OFF. I ALSO LEARNED THAT IF I GET CONFUSED OR DON'T UNDERSTAND THE INSTRUCTIONS OR SIT, I SHOULD STOP AT THE HOLD LINE AND CALL THE TWR UNTIL I GET EVERYTHING CLEAR. I WAS LUCKY THAT I STOPPED AT THE END OF THE RWY, BECAUSE IF I TOOK OFF AFTER I TAXI ONTO THE RWY, I WOULD HAVE CRASHED WITH THE AIRLINES JET AND KILLED MYSELF AND ALSO PEOPLE ON THE JET. NOW, I NEVER FORGET TO CALL THE TWR BEFORE I CROSS THE HOLD LINE. BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER HEAR ANY TRAFFICS THAT WILL USE THE RWY IF YOU USE WRONG FREQ, AND THAT WAS HOW THE INCIDENT OCCURRED.
