Narrative:

First time in this area -- was expecting visual approach. About 10 mins prior to landing told ILS runway 9L -- thought he said localizer out, perhaps also misunderstood course heading. Missed turn, controller upset, turned me around and gave me vectors to runway. Landing okay, managed to exit first taxiway, had no more direction (ie, change to ground). For some reason I turned around and went back on the runway, taxied fast and went off next taxiway, could have been a deadly mistake. Another airplane was someplace on final. He was told to initiate a go around, which he did. I was told to call the tower. There was a special event in miami and airport was unusually busy. Talked to the controller who said he understood: 1) I got disoriented (situational awareness) and that I flew into miami airspace, however, 2) he got busy and rather lost track of me. He couldn't believe I had gone back on runway, why? I had no explanation for some reason, perhaps because I was not hearing from tower or ground, I decided I was in the wrong place and just moved. I spoke to his supervisor who was understandably irate and upset. She said she would not write it up but never do it again. My thoughts, first time in area, upset that I was not doing what I should, behind the aircraft, stress from having a passenger on my first angel flight. I am normally super- cautious and the fact that I had lost control just unsettled me. Controller's 'losing me', wrong or misunderstood heading, etc, all contributed. Will be aware in busy class to be ready for an ILS in lieu of visual.

Title: INST RATED PVT PLT OF AN SMA SEL BECAME DISORIENTED AND PENETRATED CLASS B AIRSPACE AND SUBSEQUENTLY, AFTER LNDG, TAXIED BACK ONTO THE ACTIVE RWY ON WHICH THE RPTR HAD JUST LANDED. RPTR COMPLAINED OF BECOMING DISORIENTED AND NOT UNDERSTANDING ATC CLRNC INSTRUCTIONS!

Narrative: FIRST TIME IN THIS AREA -- WAS EXPECTING VISUAL APCH. ABOUT 10 MINS PRIOR TO LNDG TOLD ILS RWY 9L -- THOUGHT HE SAID LOC OUT, PERHAPS ALSO MISUNDERSTOOD COURSE HEADING. MISSED TURN, CTLR UPSET, TURNED ME AROUND AND GAVE ME VECTORS TO RWY. LNDG OKAY, MANAGED TO EXIT FIRST TXWY, HAD NO MORE DIRECTION (IE, CHANGE TO GND). FOR SOME REASON I TURNED AROUND AND WENT BACK ON THE RWY, TAXIED FAST AND WENT OFF NEXT TXWY, COULD HAVE BEEN A DEADLY MISTAKE. ANOTHER AIRPLANE WAS SOMEPLACE ON FINAL. HE WAS TOLD TO INITIATE A GAR, WHICH HE DID. I WAS TOLD TO CALL THE TWR. THERE WAS A SPECIAL EVENT IN MIAMI AND ARPT WAS UNUSUALLY BUSY. TALKED TO THE CTLR WHO SAID HE UNDERSTOOD: 1) I GOT DISORIENTED (SITUATIONAL AWARENESS) AND THAT I FLEW INTO MIAMI AIRSPACE, HOWEVER, 2) HE GOT BUSY AND RATHER LOST TRACK OF ME. HE COULDN'T BELIEVE I HAD GONE BACK ON RWY, WHY? I HAD NO EXPLANATION FOR SOME REASON, PERHAPS BECAUSE I WAS NOT HEARING FROM TWR OR GND, I DECIDED I WAS IN THE WRONG PLACE AND JUST MOVED. I SPOKE TO HIS SUPVR WHO WAS UNDERSTANDABLY IRATE AND UPSET. SHE SAID SHE WOULD NOT WRITE IT UP BUT NEVER DO IT AGAIN. MY THOUGHTS, FIRST TIME IN AREA, UPSET THAT I WAS NOT DOING WHAT I SHOULD, BEHIND THE ACFT, STRESS FROM HAVING A PAX ON MY FIRST ANGEL FLT. I AM NORMALLY SUPER- CAUTIOUS AND THE FACT THAT I HAD LOST CTL JUST UNSETTLED ME. CTLR'S 'LOSING ME', WRONG OR MISUNDERSTOOD HEADING, ETC, ALL CONTRIBUTED. WILL BE AWARE IN BUSY CLASS TO BE READY FOR AN ILS IN LIEU OF VISUAL.
