Narrative:

On rollout, heard a sound similar to landing gear being raised, but only louder. Then a slight metal grinding noise along with unusual vibration in back of aircraft. Called #1 flight attendant to see if forward crew heard and felt same thing. They did not, so immediately called cockpit. They were responding to warning lights and said they would call right back. About 5-10 mins later, captain made PA stating #2 engine failed, was shut off, and we were going to return to mia. Fuel was dumped and we landed without incident. Great crew communication and captain was very quick to keep crew and passenger informed.
