Narrative:

Tower told me (mooney) I was #2, 'V' tail beach, A35, I ws following #1. I heard tower tell A36 beech they would be #3. I had slowed to about 85 KTS on final for spacing. Beach A36 #3 came into very close view out the top of my windscreen (A36 was practicing ILS approach). I reported to tower 'mooney jp has A36 right over me.' tower told me to 'do a 360.' I was already dropping and turning. After landing, I switched to ground frequency without getting permission to taxi. Ground controller came on frequency to let me know what I did wrong. I apologized and said I would like to follow the A36 to the restaurant. I asked the pilots in the A36 if they both had their eyes on the instruments. Copilot (retired airline pilot) said 'yes, we were on an IFR flight plan and you should not have been in our way. I called the tower and spoke to supervisor. I asked if she knew how close we got. She said she had no way of telling. Tower was very busy, aircraft on left and right downwind plus ILS.
