Narrative:

During climb to FL430, our right engine flamed out at FL428. We advised ATC of the problem, descended to lower altitude, and followed relight procedures in the lear pilot manual. After successful relight, we noted all engine indications normal and elected to continue the flight at FL410. After approximately 10 mins at FL410, ATC advised us that they needed us at either FL430 or FL390. I had personally flown this aircraft the previous week at FL430 several times without incident. After discussion with the other pilot, we elected to attempt FL430 again. Leaving FL410, we turned automatic ignitors on and climbed at .81 mach. Reaching FL423 the right engine coughed twice and then flamed out. Due to heavy traffic, ATC gave us priority handling and we descended FL250. Reaching FL250, we had another successful relight, and diverted to jef to inspect the engine.

Title: LJ24 CREW HAD MULTIPLE ENG FLAMEOUTS, OF THE SAME ENG, WHEN ATTEMPTING CLB ABOVE FL410.

Narrative: DURING CLB TO FL430, OUR R ENG FLAMED OUT AT FL428. WE ADVISED ATC OF THE PROB, DSNDED TO LOWER ALT, AND FOLLOWED RELIGHT PROCS IN THE LEAR PLT MANUAL. AFTER SUCCESSFUL RELIGHT, WE NOTED ALL ENG INDICATIONS NORMAL AND ELECTED TO CONTINUE THE FLT AT FL410. AFTER APPROX 10 MINS AT FL410, ATC ADVISED US THAT THEY NEEDED US AT EITHER FL430 OR FL390. I HAD PERSONALLY FLOWN THIS ACFT THE PREVIOUS WK AT FL430 SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT INCIDENT. AFTER DISCUSSION WITH THE OTHER PLT, WE ELECTED TO ATTEMPT FL430 AGAIN. LEAVING FL410, WE TURNED AUTO IGNITORS ON AND CLBED AT .81 MACH. REACHING FL423 THE R ENG COUGHED TWICE AND THEN FLAMED OUT. DUE TO HVY TFC, ATC GAVE US PRIORITY HANDLING AND WE DSNDED FL250. REACHING FL250, WE HAD ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL RELIGHT, AND DIVERTED TO JEF TO INSPECT THE ENG.
