Narrative:

On approach to dfw, we turned to a heading of 020 degrees at carle -- the heading for non turbojets. We should have turned 16 mi later to 350 degrees at delmo. Approach gave us a heading of 040 degrees, then later 350 degrees. Better study of this STAR would have prevented this. The chart is full of notes you must read carefully. Turbulence and WX also may have been a distraction.
