Narrative:

On final to runway 33L at isp, approach advised us of cessna traffic to runway 33R. We never saw the cessna. Our TCASII indicated traffic less than 1/4 mi laterally and 300 ft below us. Vertical separation decreased to 200 ft, 100 ft and zero. TCASII traffic symbol touched our airplane symbol with range set to 5 mi. Tower asked cessna if he had us in sight. He did not, and we never saw him. We initiated go around and flew a visual pattern returning to land on runway 33L.

Title: A CL65 ON APCH TO A PARALLEL RWY TO THAT OF AN UNSEEN C152 MAKES A MISSED APCH FOR ANOTHER TRY AT ISP, NY.

Narrative: ON FINAL TO RWY 33L AT ISP, APCH ADVISED US OF CESSNA TFC TO RWY 33R. WE NEVER SAW THE CESSNA. OUR TCASII INDICATED TFC LESS THAN 1/4 MI LATERALLY AND 300 FT BELOW US. VERT SEPARATION DECREASED TO 200 FT, 100 FT AND ZERO. TCASII TFC SYMBOL TOUCHED OUR AIRPLANE SYMBOL WITH RANGE SET TO 5 MI. TWR ASKED CESSNA IF HE HAD US IN SIGHT. HE DID NOT, AND WE NEVER SAW HIM. WE INITIATED GAR AND FLEW A VISUAL PATTERN RETURNING TO LAND ON RWY 33L.
