Narrative:
On takeoff, inadvertently selected 2 degrees flaps instead of 5 degrees flaps as called for on the noise abatement departure procedure out of cvg runway 18L. Stick shaker activated as flaps were moved back to 5 degrees. Normal takeoff thrust applied and nose was lowered. Noise abatement procedure was terminated at approximately 1200-1500 ft AGL. Noise monitors may have detected excess noise.

Narrative: ON TKOF, INADVERTENTLY SELECTED 2 DEGS FLAPS INSTEAD OF 5 DEGS FLAPS AS CALLED FOR ON THE NOISE ABATEMENT DEP PROC OUT OF CVG RWY 18L. STICK SHAKER ACTIVATED AS FLAPS WERE MOVED BACK TO 5 DEGS. NORMAL TKOF THRUST APPLIED AND NOSE WAS LOWERED. NOISE ABATEMENT PROC WAS TERMINATED AT APPROX 1200-1500 FT AGL. NOISE MONITORS MAY HAVE DETECTED EXCESS NOISE.
