Narrative:

The captain did the walkaround inspection and advised me that a wheelwell light was inoperative. While working with another inoperative item we forgot about the wheelwell light and took off without putting it in the logbook. Upon realizing our mistake I put the item in the logbook and notified our maintenance. The flight continued uneventfully and the wheelwell light was replaced upon reaching our destination.
