Narrative:

After takeoff, aircraft cabin became extremely warm and we notified the cockpit. They told the flight attendants that they were working on the problem. The captain then called and notified me that we were returning back to lax and to put everything away in the cabin and prepare for landing. The captain made a PA to the passenger that there was a problem with the temperature and they could not rectify the problem and we were returning back to lax. We landed in lax without incident and changed aircraft after the plane was put OTS.
