Narrative:

After takeoff from rsw airport, the landing gear did not indicate an up and locked position. We remained at a lower altitude to run checklists, contact the company maintenance and flight control to resolve the problem. It was determined the best course of action was to continue the flight to atl. In atl, the landing gear was lowered per procedure and a normal landing was made. All policies and procedures were complied with.
