Narrative:

Approximately 10 mins out from cincinnati, while in the initial descent, ATC cleared us down to 9000 ft MSL. Shortly thereafter, ATC cleared us down to 4000 ft MSL and then 3000 ft MSL. We were then cleared for the visual approach runway 18L and landed uneventfully. Later at the gate, my first officer noticed our altimeter was 300 ft off. We realized ATC probably never said anything because we really never leveled off anywhere except maybe once briefly at 9000 ft MSL.
