Narrative:

Following a rapid descent to a visual approach to runway 21L in dtw, we realized after landing that we were still on approach frequency. Consequently, we had not changed to tower frequency for our landing clearance. Via telephone, the tower supervisor reported that we had been issued landing clearance prior to landing. No apparent conflict existed.
