Narrative:

After landing on runway 2R, tower instructed to take any left at midfield. The first left I came to was runway 34. Soon after turning onto runway 34, I realized I was crossing runway 2L. There was no conflicting traffic and ground cleared us to taxi to the FBO. The unusual procedure of exiting onto another runway rather than a taxiway at a strange airport deprived me of taxiway signs and pavement markings warning of a nearby runway. Tower did not object to what I had done, so perhaps this was their intention. But it increased the opportunity for a runway incursion.

Title: PLT OF A PA31 FAILED TO STOP FOR TAXI INSTRUCTIONS FROM GND CTL AFTER TURNING OFF RWY AS INSTRUCTED BY LCL CTLR CAUSING A RWY INCURSION.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 2R, TWR INSTRUCTED TO TAKE ANY L AT MIDFIELD. THE FIRST L I CAME TO WAS RWY 34. SOON AFTER TURNING ONTO RWY 34, I REALIZED I WAS XING RWY 2L. THERE WAS NO CONFLICTING TFC AND GND CLRED US TO TAXI TO THE FBO. THE UNUSUAL PROC OF EXITING ONTO ANOTHER RWY RATHER THAN A TXWY AT A STRANGE ARPT DEPRIVED ME OF TXWY SIGNS AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS WARNING OF A NEARBY RWY. TWR DID NOT OBJECT TO WHAT I HAD DONE, SO PERHAPS THIS WAS THEIR INTENTION. BUT IT INCREASED THE OPPORTUNITY FOR A RWY INCURSION.
