Narrative:
ZBW cleared us to descend from FL280 to cross 35 NM north of manta intersection. I was flying and had trouble inputting restr into FMS. Captain then tried, and no luck. Then ATC asked if we were going to make restr. I performed maximum rate of descent. I honestly do not know for sure if I made the crossing restr, but I feel I may have been a little high. I am relatively new to B757 and was unable to figure out FMS and neither did captain who had been on B757 for 5 yrs. I do think I possibly entered restr on other side of manta intersection.

Title: B757 FLC DISTR BY FMS PROGRAMMING AND MISS XING RESTR.
Narrative: ZBW CLRED US TO DSND FROM FL280 TO CROSS 35 NM N OF MANTA INTXN. I WAS FLYING AND HAD TROUBLE INPUTTING RESTR INTO FMS. CAPT THEN TRIED, AND NO LUCK. THEN ATC ASKED IF WE WERE GOING TO MAKE RESTR. I PERFORMED MAX RATE OF DSCNT. I HONESTLY DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE IF I MADE THE XING RESTR, BUT I FEEL I MAY HAVE BEEN A LITTLE HIGH. I AM RELATIVELY NEW TO B757 AND WAS UNABLE TO FIGURE OUT FMS AND NEITHER DID CAPT WHO HAD BEEN ON B757 FOR 5 YRS. I DO THINK I POSSIBLY ENTERED RESTR ON OTHER SIDE OF MANTA INTXN.
