Narrative:

During climb out approximately 70 NM north of mem passing through FL200, the #2 engine failed for no apparent reason. I directed the first officer to assume the PF duties, and declared an emergency. I began working through the appropriate checklists with an IOE student, and instructor (flight engineer) was aboard. While running the checklist, I noticed the #2 fuel shutoff switch on the flight engineer panel was off. The #2 engine was subsequently restarted without incident. The crew was confident the aircraft was mechanically sound and elected to proceed to the scheduled destination. ATC was advised, the in-flight emergency was terminated, and the flight proceeded uneventfully to mke.
