Duty day started at XA43Z on jan/xa/01, okc with flight okc to mem with a hub to turn mem, then scheduled flight mem to hrl. WX at hrl was below minimums on arrival, held hrl for approximately 50 mins, landing minimums did not occur. Flight flew to first alternate, iah, and landed. Crew waited for a favorable WX trend at hrl. Company extended crew duty to far duty limit (16 hours). Crew then flew iah to sat and landed. At sat there was an aircraft change and cargo/freight was trans-loaded. Crew then flew sat to hrl and landed. Flight blocked in hrl at XQ11Z. Today duty day (period) was 15 hours 28 mins to block-in hrl, with 30 min debrief, 15 hours 58 mins. The far 16 hour duty limit was not exceeded.
