Narrative:

After landing, I was cleared to taxi to ramp, stay with tower (no other aircraft were moving). Clear of runway, I started after landing checklist and was taxiing to ramp when I turned and realized I had turned onto a short parallel runway at the end. I should have waited on the checklist till I was sure of the taxi path to ramp.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG, I WAS CLRED TO TAXI TO RAMP, STAY WITH TWR (NO OTHER ACFT WERE MOVING). CLR OF RWY, I STARTED AFTER LNDG CHKLIST AND WAS TAXIING TO RAMP WHEN I TURNED AND REALIZED I HAD TURNED ONTO A SHORT PARALLEL RWY AT THE END. I SHOULD HAVE WAITED ON THE CHKLIST TILL I WAS SURE OF THE TAXI PATH TO RAMP.
