Narrative:

Dec/xa/00 we were outbound tpa/dfw. 20 mins into flight, a non revenue passenger (employee) notified me that her husband wasn't breathing, sitting up, eyes closed. We tried to get his attention. He fell forward unconscious. The aisle was blocked due to the beginning of beverage service. #1 flight attendant passed the aed and grab & go kit to me -- also large oxygen. I laid the passenger flat on the seats. (Other passenger crowded into the aisle.) I began to connect the passenger to aed and hooked him up to oxygen. I checked for breathing. The aed advised no shock. Paramedic and rn were in rear of plane, were trying to make their way to front of plane. Paramedic read graph on screen, advised captain. The passenger was regaining consciousness (although he remained in a semi state of consciousness) and that his heart rate appeared normal on the aed screen. Paramedic told captain it was not necessary to land the plane. Within mins the gentleman sat up and tried to regain his composure. Remainder of the flight was uneventful, although paramedics met our flight at dfw, came aboard and removed the passenger for further medical attention.
