Narrative:

Briefed complex noise abatement procedure out of sna. Also briefed a bleeds off takeoff and took out appropriate checklist. Checklist called for bleeds to be shut off just prior to takeoff. After a lengthy taxi we were finally cleared for takeoff. We then rebriefed the noise abatement procedures highlights one last time. In the process of rebriefing, combined with the long taxi out, we did not complete the 'bleeds off' takeoff checklist. Lesson learned: keep the checklist in a conspicuous place prior to takeoff to avoid missing it. Also, airbus could modify the checklist to allow it to be done in its entirety during taxi out, as bleed air is normally available from the APU.
