Narrative:

Following a normal approach and landing in mke, and near the end of the rollout portion of runway 1L, the first officer stated 'smoke, smoke!' I could see a light whitish mist or haze develop in the cockpit. There was no odor associated with the haze. I turned off the runway onto a taxiway and asked first officer to call flight attendants to get information on what they see or smell. At this point, the haze or smoke was rapidly dissipating in the cockpit. The flight attendants indicated the presence of the same haze or smoke, but that it was dissipating also. The ATC tower, upon inquiry, indicated they saw no fire. Still no unusual odor or smell of burning or smoldering. Taxi to gate was normal. Emergency vehicles requested as precaution. Aircraft parked at gate and passenger deplaned normally. We noticed a thin film of 'dust' on everything in the cockpit. The dust had a gritty or abrasive feel to it. Soon, an mke airport operations manager entered the cockpit. He said he had authority/authorized the sanding of runway 1L twice just prior to our arrival. The first officer noted in walkaround in mke that the air conditioning pack inlet doors were coated with sand. Both engine spinners had a coating of fine dust or sand also. No engine abnormalities were observed during landing, rollout or taxi in. There were no associated EICAS messages or other warning/caution messages displayed at any time. I contacted our dispatcher and maintenance personnel for complete briefing.

Title: B757-200 CREW HAD SMOKE IN COCKPIT AFTER LNDG AT MKE.

Narrative: FOLLOWING A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG IN MKE, AND NEAR THE END OF THE ROLLOUT PORTION OF RWY 1L, THE FO STATED 'SMOKE, SMOKE!' I COULD SEE A LIGHT WHITISH MIST OR HAZE DEVELOP IN THE COCKPIT. THERE WAS NO ODOR ASSOCIATED WITH THE HAZE. I TURNED OFF THE RWY ONTO A TXWY AND ASKED FO TO CALL FLT ATTENDANTS TO GET INFO ON WHAT THEY SEE OR SMELL. AT THIS POINT, THE HAZE OR SMOKE WAS RAPIDLY DISSIPATING IN THE COCKPIT. THE FLT ATTENDANTS INDICATED THE PRESENCE OF THE SAME HAZE OR SMOKE, BUT THAT IT WAS DISSIPATING ALSO. THE ATC TWR, UPON INQUIRY, INDICATED THEY SAW NO FIRE. STILL NO UNUSUAL ODOR OR SMELL OF BURNING OR SMOLDERING. TAXI TO GATE WAS NORMAL. EMER VEHICLES REQUESTED AS PRECAUTION.
