Narrative:

Assigned heading 090 degree vector to visual approach runway 2 ogg. PF began slow turn towards airport, followed by PNF resetting heading bug to departure heading for next flight segment. At 060 degree heading, ATC queried us about our heading and if we were still heading 090 degrees. We apologized for our error and reported ogg in sight. We were then cleared for a visual approach. There was no conflict with any other aircraft. PNF should not set heading bug unless directed to do so by PF.
