Narrative:

Due to the numerous runway incursions at fxe, ground controllers have elected to institute a work slow-down. This is no way to improve this situation. Due to a long delay at crossing an active runway I let the ground controller know that I was very unhappy. She had security meet me at the FBO to take my pilot's license number down. I do think an unsafe environment exists at fxe due to the large volume of traffic. The controllers just seem to lose control at times.

Title: PLT COMPLAINS OF CTLR WORK SLOW DOWN AT FXE, FL.

Narrative: DUE TO THE NUMEROUS RWY INCURSIONS AT FXE, GND CTLRS HAVE ELECTED TO INSTITUTE A WORK SLOW-DOWN. THIS IS NO WAY TO IMPROVE THIS SIT. DUE TO A LONG DELAY AT XING AN ACTIVE RWY I LET THE GND CTLR KNOW THAT I WAS VERY UNHAPPY. SHE HAD SECURITY MEET ME AT THE FBO TO TAKE MY PLT'S LICENSE NUMBER DOWN. I DO THINK AN UNSAFE ENVIRONMENT EXISTS AT FXE DUE TO THE LARGE VOLUME OF TFC. THE CTLRS JUST SEEM TO LOSE CTL AT TIMES.
