Narrative:
On final to aus when the flaps 1 degree was selected, the leading edge asymmetry light came on. We requested a leveloff at 4000 ft and vector to accomplish our emergency procedures. This took about 5 mins. We then informed approach control that we were ready for our visual approach again. They vectored us for a final and we landed uneventfully.
