Narrative:

On nov/xa/00 at approximately XA40, we were on radar vectors for spacing in the vicinity of the linden VOR under ZDC's control. We were on the finks 6 arrival at 13000 ft. ZDC advised us of traffic at 11 O'clock position crossing left to right and told us to turn to a northeast heading (approximately 050 degrees). We received a TA on the TCASII. We reported the traffic in sight. Center told us to maintain visual separation. I turned an additional 10 degrees to the left. We received an RA on the TCASII. No additional maneuvering was necessary. We had the traffic in sight, we were clear of it and separating from it. Center then cleared us to the armel intersection to continue the arrival. An uneventful approach and landing followed.
