Narrative:

While taxiing along the tarmac in miami preparing for eventual takeoff, flight attendant #2 came rushing up the aisle to first class, where I was, and reported to me and the #1 flight attendant that a passenger mentioned a bomb. She quickly opened the cockpit door and told the pilots the situation. We began taxiing back to the gate. At the gate, we were met by several agents and 2 police officers. I can't recall exactly how the passenger was brought to the front of the aircraft, but he was escorted off the plane onto the jetbridge. He was questioned by the agents and the police. He was very emotional, laughing, then getting angry. The agents, of course, decided not to let him take the flight. We then closed the aircraft door and took off for montreal. The comment the passenger had made to the #2 flight attendant was something like 'aren't you afraid someone might have a bomb? Aren't you taught to deal with those sits? What if I had a bomb?' I believe the passenger was a bit mentally unstable.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, B737-800, MIA-YUL. ON TAXI, MAN MADE A BOMB THREAT. CAPT TAXIED BACK TO GATE. POLICE, AIRLINE SECURITY REMOVED PAX.

Narrative: WHILE TAXIING ALONG THE TARMAC IN MIAMI PREPARING FOR EVENTUAL TKOF, FLT ATTENDANT #2 CAME RUSHING UP THE AISLE TO FIRST CLASS, WHERE I WAS, AND RPTED TO ME AND THE #1 FLT ATTENDANT THAT A PAX MENTIONED A BOMB. SHE QUICKLY OPENED THE COCKPIT DOOR AND TOLD THE PLTS THE SIT. WE BEGAN TAXIING BACK TO THE GATE. AT THE GATE, WE WERE MET BY SEVERAL AGENTS AND 2 POLICE OFFICERS. I CAN'T RECALL EXACTLY HOW THE PAX WAS BROUGHT TO THE FRONT OF THE ACFT, BUT HE WAS ESCORTED OFF THE PLANE ONTO THE JETBRIDGE. HE WAS QUESTIONED BY THE AGENTS AND THE POLICE. HE WAS VERY EMOTIONAL, LAUGHING, THEN GETTING ANGRY. THE AGENTS, OF COURSE, DECIDED NOT TO LET HIM TAKE THE FLT. WE THEN CLOSED THE ACFT DOOR AND TOOK OFF FOR MONTREAL. THE COMMENT THE PAX HAD MADE TO THE #2 FLT ATTENDANT WAS SOMETHING LIKE 'AREN'T YOU AFRAID SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE A BOMB? AREN'T YOU TAUGHT TO DEAL WITH THOSE SITS? WHAT IF I HAD A BOMB?' I BELIEVE THE PAX WAS A BIT MENTALLY UNSTABLE.
