Narrative:

On takeoff, I was instructed not to cross over runway 08 and to make a turn early. I took off from runway 03. ATC requested a good rate of turn directly to abq VOR. Doing this turn, required me to start turn at less than 400 ft AGL and at a bank angle of approximately 40-45 degree. Reason for turn not given to me by ATC. Turn was made to left. Normal turn to right to zun VOR. Suspect turn was for noise control. ATC thanked me for a good job on the turn. This type of operation puts both ATC and flight crew in a compromising situation. Results can lead to company flight manual being ignored and problems with local citizens. Suggest a new ATC procedure at abq for runway 03 departure.

Title: A300 FLC WAS GIVEN INAPPROPRIATE TURN INSTRUCTIONS BY ATCT LCL CTLR ON DEP FROM RWY 3 AT ABQ.

Narrative: ON TKOF, I WAS INSTRUCTED NOT TO CROSS OVER RWY 08 AND TO MAKE A TURN EARLY. I TOOK OFF FROM RWY 03. ATC REQUESTED A GOOD RATE OF TURN DIRECTLY TO ABQ VOR. DOING THIS TURN, REQUIRED ME TO START TURN AT LESS THAN 400 FT AGL AND AT A BANK ANGLE OF APPROX 40-45 DEG. REASON FOR TURN NOT GIVEN TO ME BY ATC. TURN WAS MADE TO L. NORMAL TURN TO R TO ZUN VOR. SUSPECT TURN WAS FOR NOISE CTL. ATC THANKED ME FOR A GOOD JOB ON THE TURN. THIS TYPE OF OP PUTS BOTH ATC AND FLC IN A COMPROMISING SIT. RESULTS CAN LEAD TO COMPANY FLT MANUAL BEING IGNORED AND PROBS WITH LOCAL CITIZENS. SUGGEST A NEW ATC PROC AT ABQ FOR RWY 03 DEP.
