Narrative:

I was cruising at FL370 as assigned when center advised that I was 300 ft low. My altimeter was still set on my departure altimeter setting. I reset to 29.92 and corrected to the proper altitude FL370. During my climb out, there was some confusion with center which was enough of a distraction that I missed resetting the altimeters approaching FL180 and missed the item when completing my checklists.
