Narrative:

At arrival station, I checked the logbook for correctness of an en route maintenance write-up, and discovered that we had departed our previous station with an open maintenance write-up for more engine performance logs. Our company policy is for the so to report any discrepancies to the captain, but my so had missed the write-up. I looked in the engine performance log and discovered that we still had 5 empty logsheets. I then contacted maintenance control and received a 'continue in service' MEL authority/authorized to continue to our next station.
