Narrative:

After obtaining an IFR clearance I advised det ground control that I was unfamiliar with the airport and requested progressive taxi instructions to the active runway 33. While taxiing ground control advised me to hold short at the hold short line, however, while taxiing on the progressive taxi, ground control stated I entered the active runway. It should be noted, no aircraft was on final approach at the time of this runway entry nor was one diverted. I advised ground control that I did not see the hold short line, and his reply to me was 'the lines are very, very faint.' once on the active runway, I was cleared for normal takeoff with normal communications with the tower and departure.
