Narrative:

On sep/xa/00, flight XXX (aircraft xyz) arrived with 3 write-ups. Item #1 required right engine horsepower valve locked closed per MEL 36-22-01. Cleared write-up. I had to use gloves, jacket, and mop heads to avoid getting burned. After performing task, I cleared the mops, ladder and closed engine. Item #2 required the right gear green light indicator relamped. Closed write-up. And item #3 required the left engine to be run checked for bleed light illumination. Cleared write-up. Left engine checked ok. On sep/xb/00, I was told that ship xyz en route to atlanta, had a right engine 'overheat message.' I was also told that upon opening the engine they found a mop head had damaged the overheat detector. I think it's possible that a mop head could have been left behind, even though I cleared the engine and don't recall leaving a mop head behind.
